Accident reports released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Sunflower Rd. south of 110th Rd.

While trying to avoid an animal at 12:21 p.m. June 16, Sharon Dover, 59, Peabody, drove her 2008 Honda Civic into a ditch, striking a fence post owned by Clifford Hett, rural Marion.

Office Dr. at Marion County Lake

Gerald Hager, 38, Florence, backed his 1995 Dodge Ram 150 into a parked 2005 Mazda MZ3 owned by Nancy Marr of Marion at 5:55 p.m. June 17. Although deputy Derek Calvert’s report said Hager had been inattentive and backed his vehicle improperly, Hager was not ticketed. Another adult and three children, all from the same Florence address, were in the truck with him.

Upland Rd. north of Lakeshore Dr.

A tree branch fell on Mischelle Dush’s 2014 Chevy Impala as Dush, 31, of Hillsboro was driving during a windstorm at 5 p.m. June 15 near Marion County Lake.

K-15 north of 180th Rd.

Robin Plenert, 52, Hillsboro, hit a deer with a 1996 Plymouth Voyager at 1:20 a.m. June 20. Owner Gregory Plenert of the same address, an older adult, and a teenager were in the vehicle at the time.

400 block of S. Ash St.

A 2000 Honda Civic driven by Connell E. Vanderpool, 18, Hillsboro, struck the rear of a 1992 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Mitchell Allen Neuwirth, 28, Marion, while the pickup was stopped at a stop sign at 5:05 p.m. June 19. Police said that Vanderpool admitted to being distracted by changing music in his vehicle.
