U.S. 56 near 280th Road

Roger Wayne Harold, 65, Junction City, was driving south on U.S. 56 at 8:24 a.m. May 20 in a 2007 Freightliner truck, registered to TSI Kansas Inc. in Clay Center, when a deer ran in front of the truck and was struck.

Milepost 323 on U.S. 56 near 340th Road

Temetrius Omega Robinson, 30, Manhattan, was riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle south at 10:42 p.m. May 21 on U.S. 77. He was going to pass a truck that was turning in front of him, but did not have enough clearance. Robinson then applied the front brake of the motorcycle, lost control, and laid the bike on its side. Robinson was transported to Wesley Hospital in Wichita by Life Team.

Milepost 124.5 on K-15 near 170th Road

Kimberly K. Knittig, 28, 302 N. Washington St., Hillsboro, was traveling north on K-15 at 6:30 a.m. May 24 in a 2007 Mercury passenger vehicle, when a deer ran on to the road and was struck.
