Milepost 308 on U.S. 56 near 220th Road
Aaron Jeffrey Annis, 22, Mapleton, Minn., was driving a 1999 Toyota passenger vehicle south on U.S. 56 at 2 a.m. May 8, when a deer entered into the path of the vehicle and was struck. The vehicle was registered to Linda Adine Annis of the same address as driver.
B Street near Ash, Hillsboro
A 2008 Mercury Mariner, owned by Jane A. Brown, 107 W. B St., Hillsboro, was parked in front of her residence when the owner noticed a scratch on the driver’s side door, a broken side light lens, and a tire rub on the driver’s side front tire. The accident was reported at 11:30 a.m. May 8.
Milepost 117 on K-15 near 110th Road
Marlaena Ann Gridley, 17, Newton, was traveling south on K-15 at 3:15 p.m. May 9 in a 2004 Honda passenger vehicle, when the vehicle left the roadway, entered into a west ditch, and rolled over. Gridley was transported by Marion County EMS to Newton Medical Center with injuries. The vehicle is registered to Steven W. Gridley of the same address as driver.
500 block 120th Road near Diamond Road
A 1999 passenger vehicle driven by Cody Alan Loewen, 20, 109 N. Buller St., Goessel, was traveling east on 120th Road at 4:53 p.m. May 9, when he lost control of the vehicle on loose gravel, going into a south ditch, and went across Diamond Road overturning one time. Loewen was transported to Newton Medical Center by Peabody Ambulance with possible injuries. The vehicle is registered to Diane Loewen of the same address as driver.
