U.S. 56 near Quail Creek Road

Ryan L. Richter, 35, 318 N. Roosevelt St., Marion, entered a south ditch, overturned and landed upright in a cornfield at 6:45 p.m. July 31. Richter was transported by Marion emergency medical services to St. Luke Hospital, Marion. He was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup.

Intersection of U.S. 50 and Nighthawk Road, Peabody

A 1995 Ford pickup driven by Howard R. Hess, 62, 407 N. Locust Apt. 15, Peabody, and a 2001 Freightliner truck driven by Charles E. Farrington II, 43, Lagrange, Ind., collided at 12:10 p.m. Aug. 11 at the intersection when Hess failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign. Cidy L. Farrington, 49, Lagrange, Ind., was a passenger in the Freightliner.
