U.S. 77 near 140th Road

Jill Marie Wyss, 20, Wichita, was driving a 2008 Nissan passenger vehicle north on U.S. 77 at 6:05 p.m. Dec. 4, when she came upon a deer standing on the road in the path of the vehicle and was unable to avoid hitting the animal. The vehicle is registered to Koni Wyss of Wichita.

120th Road near Falcon

Jack A. Martin, 66, 718 120th Road, Hillsboro, was traveling eastbound on 120th Road in a 2001 Pontiac passenger vehicle at 6:45 p.m. Dec. 6, when two deer came out of a north ditch and he could not avoid one of the animals.
