Freedom was short-lived for a Florence woman arrested Friday on suspicion of possession of drugs.

Kelsie S. Glenn, 40, posted a $5,000 surety bond to get out of jail at 10:49 a.m. Friday after she was arrested at 4:06 a.m. on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and anhydrous ammonia with intent to make methamphetamine.

After only 60 hours of freedom, Glenn was arrested again Sunday morning, this time along with William R. Shearer, 40, Florence, who allegedly was driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Glenn was booked into jail at 8 a.m. Monday, again on suspicion of drug charges. This time, she was jailed on suspicion of possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

It took longer for her to bond out Monday. She was released on $10,000 surety bond at 6:11 p.m.

Deputy and drug dog handler Josh Meliza pulled Glenn over early Friday at US-50 and Wagon Wheel Rd. He arrested her after his drug dog, Karma, indicated the scent of meth, and Meliza found a container of anhydrous ammonia, one of the ingredients used to make meth.

Sheriff Jeff Soyez said Glenn had a small, personal amount of methamphetamine and a container of anhydrous ammonia similar to a size used for a propane grill.

On Monday, Glenn was arrested again after deputy Joel Womochil pulled over a car driven by Shearer at US-77 and 80th Rd.

Smelling marijuana smoke coming from the car, Womochil called for drug dog handler Matt Regier and his dog, Yoko, to search.

Shearer also was arrested and got out of jail at 5:28 p.m. after posting a $2,000 surety bond.
