90th birthday celebration for Wayne Larsen

Former Peabody resident and 1944 Peabody High School graduate Wayne Larsen will celebrate his 90th birthday Feb. 20 and would like to have his friends and acquaintances from Peabody join him.

The festivities will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Haysville Senior Center at 160 E. Karla in Haysville.

“Wayne was our class president,” Gwen Gaines said. “He was quite a comedian and we hope to have friends and classmates in attendance so we can visit and reminisce about all the jokes and tricks he played.”

Larsen requests no gifts, just the presence of his guests.

Gaines also encouraged those who cannot attend the event to send a card or greetings to Larsen at his home address, 120 E. Karla, Apt. 105, Haysville, KS 67060.
