Peabody-Burns High School football had four players make the 2010 Wheat State All league list and volleyball had three athletes garner top honors.
Senior Storm Pickens was named first-team all-league football. Pickens had 160 carries this season for a total of 1,212 yards. He scored 24 rushing touchdowns. He also had 70 tackles and six interceptions.
Senior Derek Price was also first-team all-league. Price had 35 carries for 186 yards and two touchdowns. He had 21 receptions for 362 yards and five touchdowns. He had 79.5 tackles for the season and four interceptions.
Senior Spencer Moffett also was first-team all-league. Moffett had 40 tackles and two sacks for the season.
Senior Trevor Foth was named all-league honorable mention. He had 30 tackles for the season and recorded a sack.
For the Lady Warriors, senior Michaela Methvin was named all-league first team. She had 289 kills, 45 aces, 167 digs, and 33 blocks for the season.
Senior Embry Hodges was named second-team all-league. Hodges had 140 kills, 46 blocks, 39 aces and 209 digs. Junior Sarah Hofkamp was also second-team all-league. She had 42 kills, 42 aces, 15 blocks, 178 digs, and 475 assists.
