Mr. and Mrs. Warren Slocombe are parents of a daughter born August 4 at Axtell Hospital in Newton. She has been named Elizabeth Ann.

Guy Wright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Wright, left Sunday for Kansas City and San Diego to enter service in the United States Navy.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Jones and children, Mike and Lynn, arrived home Tuesday from a vacation trip to Vancouver, Washington, British Columbia, and a stop at the Eugene Gnagy home in Wanatchee, Washington.
