Southwestern college has awarded a four-year Meyer scholarship totaling $600 to Nellie Lou Holmes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Seibel of Peabody.

Rev. Harold E. Kieler of Winfield visited Sunday afternoon with his cousins, Margaret, Jennie, and Anna Kieler.

Richard Litton was picked as Peabody Post #95 American Legion commander to succeed Harold Spangler.
