Happy Hustlers
Rylee Thomas spoke about a goat project, and members voted to print flyers for a Marion Elementary School open house when Happy Hustlers 4-H club met Aug. 1.
Sixteen members, four leaders, and three parents answered roll call by naming a project they took to the county fair.
The club placed second in the commissioners’ gift basket competition at the fair.
Members were urged to begin updating their record books for the new 4-H year. Officer applications will be due at the next meeting.
Trent Summervill led the club in a water balloon toss, and Rylee Thomas led members in singing
“Happy Birthday” to members with July birthdays
Refreshments were provided by the Groening family.
