2 nurses leave St. Luke

Nurses Amber Smith and Molly Smith will be leaving St. Luke Hospital to pursue other careers.

“Amber was in cardiac rehab and surgery, and Molly did a little of everything,” St. Luke’s new CEO and former chief nursing officer, Jeremy Ensey, said Thursday.

He said Amber Smith would plan to work with her husband, Lane Smith, at his chiropractic office in Marion.

Molly Smith plans to work in intensive care at Via Christi Hospital in Wichita for a year before applying for school to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist.

Interviews to fill the positions have begun.
