2 new employees join Hoch Publishing

Staff writer

Hoch Publishing welcomes two new employees this week.

Karlene Lovelady, most recently office assistant at Brookens Law, has been a Marion resident for 15 years.

She and her husband, Joe Lovelady, greenskeeper at Marion County Club, have five children and one grandchild.

Grant, 22, is stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. He recently returned from duty in Germany. Hogan, 21, lives in El Dorado with his wife, Kayla, and son, Caybryn, 18 months. Twins Miran and Zane, 19, will begin studies at Butler Community College in the fall. Taydyn, 11, is a sixth grade student at Marion Middle School.

In addition to her duties at Brookens Law, Karlene has provided in-home assistance to seniors in the Marion area and was office administrator for Marion Christian Church.

She will assume most bookkeeping responsibilities at Hoch Publishing, replacing Ann Holt, who left last week to devote more time to her family.

Conan Glickman, who recently moved to Peabody from near Austin, Texas, also will work in customer service, focusing mainly on sales. A journalism graduate from Stephen F. Austin University, he has more than a decade of experience in sales and marketing in the manufacturing, recreation and leisure, and telecommunications industries.

Both he and his fiancee have relatives in the area. He is a distant relative of former congressman Dan Glickman.

“We’re excited to have two such well-qualified people joining our staff,” publisher Eric Meyer said.
