Amy Patton and Lynn Balthrop are among 70 Kansas 4-H members participating in a Citizenship Washington Focus trip June 12 to 24.

Firemen practiced their skills last week on a house northwest of Peabody on the Davis-Waite farm.

The winner of the Peabody Alumni Scholarship this year is Bobby Winter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Winter of Peabody.
