Harold Taylor of Peabody was re-elected to the board of directors of Flint Hills Electric Cooperative at its meeting April 2.

Peabody Sausage House was busy this weekend with a big order of sausage for the Mennonite Relief Sale at Hutchinson this weekend. The local meat handlers butchered and processed six large sows, preparing about 1500 pounds of succulent sausage for sale at food booths Friday and Saturday.

Don and Irene Hamous of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who spent two-weeks here visiting Steve and Janet Hamous, returned to their home on Wednesday.
