After seeing the Warriors badly outnumbered and outmanned at the Clifton-Clyde game — 64 to 6 — last week, the idea of going to 8-man football is again on the agenda for the board of education.

Jim and Gladys Preheim entertained at a family dinner on Labor Day.

Guests of Lucy Janzen and Marilyn and Sara Cook ate foods prepared from recipes from Betty Richmond, Scorton, England at an English tea Saturday. Scones, Goosmaught cakes, cream cakes and sherry trifle, assorted sandwiches, salad, and white tea were served.
