At their meeting Tuesday evening, the city council awarded the contract of moving the steam pump and pipes in the four new wells to Mr. John E. Ford, an experienced builder of water works.

G.B. Nogle is the new operator at the Santa Fe Depot.

John Funk, proprietor of City Livery Stables, has moved to Peabody and is living just south of Dr. Seybold.
