William Elliott this week bought the A.C. Klinefelter farm of 164 acres three miles south and one mile west of Peabody for $10,500.

C.M. Nusbaum and H.A. Kobel drove to El Dorado to attend the Kaffir Corn festival last Friday. They went in Nusbaum’s car.

Calvin Tressler, who drove the ice wagon all summer for the Peabody Light, Power, and Ice Company, is now working as a baggage man at the Santa Fe Station.
