The Arnold School in Florence has been closed because of diphtheria.

Peabody High School will miss Marian Westbrook, who transferred to Marion High School. She will make her home with her sister, Mrs. John Griffiths in Marion.

Peabody City Council has accepted Ora Moffett’s proposal to act as engineer with the extension of a lateral sewer in the north part of town.
