M.H. Calbeck shipped two cars and I.W. Mitchell and Art Bailey one car each of fat cattle to Kansas City the first of the week. Harold Calbeck, Mr. Mitchell, and Mr. Bailey went with the shipment.

Miss Mina Fitch will entertain her Sunday school class at her home this evening.

Dr. Grove and Mrs. Axtell were here Monday from Axtell Hospital in Newton. The former performed an operation on Mrs. W.O. Dickerson. Her many friends will be glad to know she is recovering nicely.
