A colorful sunflower head stands out among thousands in a field four miles south of Marion between 150th and 160th Rds. The crop of high oleic sunflowers was planted by rural Lincolnville farmer Marty Kroupa on land owned by former Marion priest Hien Nguyen. The sunflower seeds will go to produce sunflower oil.
Car enthusiast Wayne Ollenburger, of Hillsboro, stands with his prize-winning 1980 Corvette that has less than 2,000 miles on it. He said he regularly wins awards at car shows with it.
