Joe Lovelady, golf course superintendent, peers out of his skunk-hunting gear Tuesday at Marion Country Club. His wife, Karlene, said, "All you can see is his eyeballs, and it looks like he's there to rob the whole county." Lovelady has no such plans, but he recently bagged 20 skunks that were damaging fairways in search of bug larva.

Kenny Wiens of Halstead was an exhibitor at Peabody Sunday Cruise, showing a pickup truck with original ties to Peabody. Former Peabody resident Milford Ediger purchased the International Harvester new in 1967 from a dealer in Halstead. As with many vehicles of nearly 50 years of age, the truck made the rounds of several owners before Wiens purchased it about five years ago.
